About Us

Charlotte's younger craft enthusiasts now have an organization to call their own. The Apprentice Circle, an affiliate of the Founders' Circle, the national support organization for the Mint Museum of Craft + Design, is designed specifically for individuals up to age fifty.

"Our mission is to cultivate supporters of the Mint Museum of Craft + Design and develop collecting skills through hands-on, educational and volunteer experiences," says Vicki Jones, Chairperson of the Apprentice Circle.

"There's no better way to learn about collecting craft than up close and personal with the artists and the curators," says Diane Adams, Vice Chairperson of the Apprentice Circle. "This group promises to provide exposure to the rare and unusual, and provide experiences not normally available to the general public."
