March Board Meeting
On March 9 -11, 2007, the Founders' Circle board came to Charlotte for its quarterly meeting. On Friday evening, the board hosted a special Staff Appreciation Dinner at the museum honoring the staff who support the Mint Museum of
Craft + Design.
On Saturday, the group was hosted by Wachovia Bank with a tour of the model of the new museums' campus and a view of the "big hole in the ground" from the 42nd floor Wachovia Board Room. Carol and Shelton Gorelick then invited the board for lunch at their home and a tour of their outstanding
ceramics collection.
The weekend concluded Saturday evening with cocktails at Taverna 100 and a performance by the North Carolina Dance Theater. |
