On June 3rd an enthusiastic group traveled via private coach to visit Penland School of Crafts, the international center for craft education dedicated to helping people live creative lives.

Participants first visited Penland School of Craft's newly expanded craft gallery and current contemporary ceramics exhibition, "Within the Margins | Contemporary Ceramics Curated by Steven Young Lee" before traveling to the nearby mountain home of Board of Directors Members, Ted & Susie Gross, for a delicious lunch and refreshments.

After lunch and a tour of the Gross' private collection, participants visited the studios of glass artist John Geci and potter Courtney Martin, before returning to Penland School of Crafts for a private tour of the workshop studios and studio visits of the current seven resident artists.
