We are excited to invite you to participate in our inaugural summer soiree, Craft, Crab & Cocktails on June 16 at 6pm on the front lawn of Mint Museum Randolph. You are a part of a valuable group of contributors who help us sustain the work of Founders' Circle, which was begun 21 years ago. This event gives us time to visit with friends old and new, while feeding our soul with the power of craft. The event will also celebrate with both a live auction and silent auction of pieces by skilled craftsmen that will allow you to go home with a new treasure.

We ask you to consider gifting a work of art to be auctioned at the event. Giving a work of art to benefit The Mint Museum is a way of saying how important the Founders' Circle has been in continuing craft education. Should you choose to donate a live auction item, you will be invited to receive an appraisal and documentation at a private event held at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art on April 18.

We are also seeking event sponsorships, which will provide significant opportunities for your business to shine. In return for your tax-deductible donation, you will experience direct marketing to our membership, The Mint's membership, and the local arts community, as a whole. In addition to marketing benefits, you will be helping to safeguard the legacy of The Mint, a cultural treasure, for years to come.

As always, Founders' Circle fundraising dollars will help offset the cost of future Mint exhibits, gallery events, private collection tours and the acquisition of works for the permanent collection. We are filling our calendar this year with a number of philanthropic, social and cultural events that will provide our members and the greater Charlotte community with dynamic occasions to engage The Mint, the Founders' Circle and our philanthropic mission.

You enrich each of us by being a part of Founders' Circle and supporting our efforts to make the arts an integral part of our lives. We thank you for the central role you play in supporting Founders' Circle and our mission. If you are interested in donating a work of art or being an event sponsor, please call Sarah Robinson, Founders' Circle Administrator, at 980.201.1865. We look forward to speaking with you soon.
